Dr. John Jackson is a dynamic and strategic leader who has demonstrated organizational leadership skills in his work with national and global organizations and ministries. He has written and authored nine books on leadership, cultural change, and spiritual formation and is a sought-after speaker and executive consultant. Titles include Grace Ambassador (Chosen, 2023), The Prevailing Church, The Right Choice, Finding Your Place in God's Plan, Pastorpreneur, God-Size Your Church, Leveraging Your Leadership Style and Leveraging Your Communication Style (both coauthored with Lorraine Bosse Smith), and High Impact Church Planting. Dr. Jackson led Jessup University to more than triple in enrollment, adding programs in Math & Sciences, Nursing, Arts, Aviation, Graduate Studies and Online. Jessup has received regional and national distinction and accreditation in multiple sectors and is one of the stronger Christ-centered Universities in the country. Dr. Jackson has been a Senior Leader in churches ranging from 150-12,000 and in multi-state ministry platforms. He earned both his Ph.D. and M.A. in Educational Administration and Organizational Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara; M.A. in Theology (Christian Formation and Discipleship) at Fuller Theological Seminary; and a B.A. in Religion (Christian History and Thought) from Chapman University. Dr. Jackson is married to Pam and they make their home in Northern California. They have five children. Those five children have produced 8 grandchildren (so far!).
