Hi, I’m John Nassari. By day I work as a London-based photographer, but by night I lose myself in the worlds of fantasy. I fell in love with fantasy stories as a teenager, and that spark grew into a lifelong passion for writing and world-building.
My debut novel, The Dream Traveller: Dark Rising, was released in May 2024 and to my amazement (and delight) it quickly resonated with readers. It went on to hit the No. 1 Best Seller spot on Amazon Kindle in August 2024, and was a finalist in the 2024 Page Turner Awards. The Audible edition, narrated by the brilliant Peter Kenny, was released later that year and went on to win a Silver Medal in the eLit Awards.
The journey has continued with more recognition than I ever expected– Finalist in the 19th Annual National Indie Excellence® Awards (2025), long-listed in the 2025 Ozma Awards for Fantasy Fiction, and more. But the real reward has been hearing from readers who’ve connected with the characters and worlds I’ve created.
