Dr. Simon’s distinguished career spans over 50 years of scientific research and development in academia, as well as business advancement in industry. He served as a Professor of Science at Mercy College of Ohio, where he taught organic chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology to nursing students. His extensive industry experience includes work in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors. Presently, he is the Chief Scientific Officer at Quantum Micromaterials, a company that develops polymers for carbon capture, optical displays, and electric batteries.
