John Toolan was born in NYC in the early 60s. He was raised in Short Hills, NJ. He attended college for a long time and then taught English for twenty-five years, mostly in Colorado and NM but also abroad. He lives with his dog Nui and cat Theo in Santa Fe, NM, and aside from writing books, he is also a musician and avid traveler. This is his second novel.
