Jon Cohn is an award-winning horror author and board game designer based in San Diego. His debut, The Island Mother, won the 2022 Publisher’s Weekly BookLife Prize for Best Indie Horror, and Slashtag was a 2024 Indie Book Brawl Quarter-Finalist.
Jon writes psychological and supernatural horror with a dark, sometimes sharp-edged sense of humor. He’s also the designer of horror-themed board games including Ghostland, Basket Case, Taboo Horror, and Thanksgiving, co-designed with Eli Roth.
He lives in San Diego with his wife Delaney and their very dramatic dog, Miss Cordelia Chase.
