Jon Cronshaw writes epic and dark fantasy with heart: nobledark stories of wyverns, assassins and hope that bleeds but never dies.
His Ravenglass Universe is a sweeping fantasy world of bonded wyverns, fractured empires, assassins, rebels and morally grey heroes. Start with The Ravenglass Chronicles, where it all began, or Guild of Assassins, a dark assassin academy fantasy. Readers of Robin Hobb, Brent Weeks and Michael J. Sullivan will find themselves at home.
A former journalist and political reporter, Jon has written for The Guardian, the Daily Mail and The Yorkshire Post. Years spent covering politics and public life shape the power struggles and shifting loyalties in his fiction.
He lives in Morecambe with his family. When not writing, he enjoys running, music, coastal walks, and fantasy and science fiction audiobooks.
