I've been writing fiction for roughly twenty years. I've written six novels and a handful of short stories. The Never Not Yes is my fifth published book.
Lately, I've taken serious issues from the culture and put them into visceral fiction. I believe American fiction has lost its edge, lost touch with many of the pressing issues of the period. I'm trying to revive engagement with the verisimilitude in fiction by creating the emotional necessity to reflect upon the troubles of the real world.
