Julia lives in Salisbury in the UK with her kind but eccentric husband who makes giant models of creepy-crawlies for fun. They have 3 sons, 1 cat, 6 lovebirds, 4 fancy pheasants and roughly 6 quails and 8 chickens, depending on recent egg laying, fox activity, and whether any of the cockerels has been uppity lately.
Julia recently finished a new book for older children called 'An Idiot's Guide to Grave Robbing' and is now editing a book for adults set in Alsace Lorraine in WW2.
