Julián E. Salcedo was born in Bogotá, Colombia. He studied literature at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He then settled in Montreal, Canada, and studied at the University of Montreal, where he graduated with a Master's degree in Hispanic Studies with his thesis: "The Other, the cinema and the intellectual: Victor Gaviria, the power of the cinematic image." Julián has published short stories in the University of Manitoba's Scheherazade Project and has published poems in the book "Otro Canto" (I La Pereza International Poetry Prize 2013). In 2023, he released a collection of short stories in a new book entitled: Hoy no llovió y otros cuentos | Today it didn't rain and other stories. In addition, he currently is in the process of finishing two short novels and will soon publish an anthology of poetry. 👀 Stay tuned for more news about this ✍️ author
