USA Today Bestselling author K.C. Sivils is the creator of several several fictional series of characters in the genres of historical fiction, scifi crime noir, and modern noir. An Amazon Best Selling author of non-fiction, Sivils has authored over thirty books. He has collaborated with other authors to create works of fiction that have earned Amazon Best Seller status in numerous categories.
His Inspector Thomas Sullivan series combines classic crime noir stylings with science fiction. Inspired by the classic film adaptation by Ridley Scott of Philip K. Dick's scifi classic Do Androids Dream of Electric sheep into the masterful Harrison Ford vehicle Bladerunner encouraged him to consume as much of both genre's as possible.
A fan of past noir masters such as Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler, Sivils also enjoys the current generation of storytellers like Renee Pawlish and Dan Petrosini.
His other series include the FBI Agent Nelson Paine series, set in the WW II and early Cold War eras featuring murder and espionage, and modern Southern noir with his James Benoit "Heat" Heatley Private Investigator series.
A dog lover, Sivils is the married father of three children and currently makes his home in Katy, Texas.
