Drawn to stories that explore survival, identity, and the fragile balance between safety and control, their work focuses on the emotional and psychological impact of living inside carefully constructed systems.
Influenced by formative favorites such as The Giver and Ender’s Game, Kitzir blends character-driven narratives with immersive world building and slow-burning revelations. A fascination with archaeology, evolution, unsolved mysteries, and apocalyptic societies helped shape their storytelling approach and inspired the creation of Primal Ascension, a tabletop game rooted in evolution, choice, and narrative-driven world building, with future plans to expand the project into an online experience.
Outside of writing, Kitzir has spent decades working in animal care and behavior, an experience that deeply informs their observational perspective and empathy-driven storytelling.
