K.R. House is the author of The Call of Wind, book 1 of the Unmarked series. She started her career in the educational publishing space, working as an editor and a manager.
K.R.’s first friends (not including her younger brothers) were all books. She fell in love with reading at a young age, devouring books like Percy Jackson, The Hobbit, and the Hunger Games. She became obsessed with the idea of being a sci-fi and fantasy author in middle school and, despite her best efforts, has never been able to get over it.
When not writing, K.R. spends her time reading, running, watching anime, and hanging out with her husband and two cats.
