Karen E. Osborne is an award-winning and Amazon Kindle bestselling author of suspense and social-issue fiction, best known for writing New York–set mysteries and dramas featuring strong, flawed women navigating family, power, leadership, and moral choice. Her novels include Justice for Emerson, a dual-timeline murder mystery with romantic elements; True Grace, a work of historical suspense and book-club fiction; Reckonings; Tangled Lies; and Getting It Right. Across genres, her stories explore resilience, race, community responsibility, and the personal cost of leadership. A native New Yorker who grew up in the Bronx, Karen always knew she wanted to be a writer, but marriage, children, and a long career in philanthropy, education, and nonprofit leadership delayed publication. She released her debut novel at age 69, bringing decades of lived experience to fiction that examines what it means to endure, lead, and begin again. Karen also hosts the weekly video podcast What Are You Reading? What Are You Writing?, where she interviews authors about craft, books they love, and the stories that shape us. She now lives in Southeast Florida with her husband, Robert. They have two grown children and three grandsons.
