Karl O Kelly is a master of contemporary folklore and high-concept fantasy. In Tales of a Trickster, O Kelly breathes new life into the legend of the leprechaun, transforming a classic trope into a profound exploration of identity, greed, and redemption. His writing is celebrated for its dual nature seamlessly blending the whimsical atmosphere of "Fae-Maryland" with a rigorous, philosophical depth. O Kelly’s signature "Old Bean" narrative style captures the timeless quality of oral tradition while delivering a sharp, modern commentary on the human (and magical) condition. He currently writes from the United States, where he continues to map the shifting borders of the Multirealms.
