Torn between rural chores and a city career, from verbal bullying to constructive criticism, from Christian and atheist roots through Judaism to Islam, and from more funerals than weddings, Kate grew up surrounded by doubt. Her personal judgment was often challenged by collective thinking. She found balance through care for the environment, developed an interest in uniqueness, hard work, discipline, and humanity, often escaped into ancient and traditional cultures, and cultivated a hippo skin as a self-reliant, outspoken, and technically confident woman.
These experiences are reflected in Kate’s writing, painting, and other passions, whenever health and daily family responsibilities allow.
Shaped by multilingual studies and education in economics, crisis, project and human resource management, tourism, African studies, informatics, and content creation, humour and irony became the needle and thread of Kate’s articles and creative work.
