I recently retired after spending the last 9 years of my career as a Fire Archaeologist at the Utah Bureau of Land Management.. I was lucky enough to spend my days reading about the history of Utah and Colorado while walking survey lines looking for remnants from the past. I was particularly fond of Brown's Park (the Park) in Northeastern Utah/Colorado. My stories are filled with Indians, cowboys, outlaws, ranchers and evil cattle barons who were trying to destroy the ranchers way of life.
