Kathleen Brehony, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist, author, and public speaker exploring love, loss, and reinvention. She built her career as a nonfiction author (Ordinary Grace, Awakening at Midlife, Living a Connected Life, After the Darkest Hour), and co-authored Boston Marriages (with Esther Rothblum), Chanting, Discovering Spirit in Sound (with Robert Gass), and Up the Bestseller List (with Karen Jones). She hosted TV program All About Women and radio program Heartwaves, appeared on the Today Show, was profiled on PBS, and was recognized by Marquis Who's Who. The Third Act is her debut novel, with forthcoming titles in the same story world. She lives on the coast of North Carolina.
