Kathy Anderson is the author of the short story collection, Vamoose: Stories, which will be published by Vine Leaves Press in June, 2026. Her first novel, The New Town Librarian (NineStar Press), was a finalist for Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Award in LGBTQ+ Fiction and the Goldie Award from the Golden Crown Literary Society. Her first short story collection, Bull and Other Stories (Autumn House Press), won the Autumn House Press Fiction Prize, was a finalist for Publishing Triangle’s Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction, Lambda Literary Awards, and Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Award in Short Stories. She lives with her wife in Philadelphia, PA.
