After graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Psychology, Kathy took a break from her university studies for a brief stint as a flight attendant with United Airlines that lasted thirty-four years. She also did stand-up comedy in San Diego at the Comedy Store and other midnight venues during her menopausal years. She served as a Master of Ceremonies for charitable fundraisers in San Diego and has spoken to many groups on what she calls, ‘The Joy Emergency.’
Kathy is happily married to her husband, Jerry, and has two spectacular children, Brooke and Tim.
