Kathy Ivchenko is the author of ‘Awkward Stumbles and Fuzzy Memories: Memoir of a Peace Corps Volunteer’, a memoir that is 25 years in the making, detailing her personal journey with the Peace Corps. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from George Mason University, Ivchenko draws on her unique life experiences and lessons in her writing. Ivchenko served in the Peace Corps Ukraine from 1994-1996, and again with her husband from 2000-2001, which has inspired her life-long love of travel. Her writing is packed with honesty and humor, and is often centered around travel and self-discovery.
