Kathy lives and writes in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Her hometown and its history inspire much of her fiction. When she’s not thinking about how haunted everything is, she enjoys playing and reviewing roleplaying and board games. Her latest novel, The Talking Cure, follows Sean Joye on an investigation to central Illinois, teaming up with a frenemy for The Big Cinch, Violet Humphrey. Her first novel, The Big Cinch, was published by Montag Press. Two earlier stories in the same series,The Sean Joye Investigations, are the novella, The Resurrectionist, and the novelette, Water of Life. Her novella, Wolfhearted, is a departure from paranormal crime investigations into epic steampunk fantasy and is her first work available in audiobook.
