Katie is an English-Spanish-Japanese teacher and translator from Denver, Colorado who lives in Tokyo. She has a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of Denver, and has lived and worked in Perú and Japan in for the past 10 years, managing nonprofit educational organizations in Perú, and then becoming a high school English teacher in Tokyo. Katie has traveled to over 20 countries, from which she has absorbed a love for trying foods from all over the world, as well as recreating them inside her own kitchen. She currently works as a freelance English, Japanese, and Spanish teacher online.
