Kendall Carlton is a retired electronics engineer whose thirty-four-year career sharpened his eye for detail, systems, and the high-stakes problem solving that fuels his thrillers.
Raised in Arizona near the Navajo and Apache Nations, Kendall grew up surrounded by stories of resilience, survival, and the rugged landscape of the American Southwest, influences that continue to shape the tone and atmosphere of his writing.
Now splitting his time between the mountains of Colorado and the deserts of Arizona, Kendall draws inspiration from the contrast of these environments and the people who live in them. He and his wife enjoy visiting their children and grandchildren scattered across the country.
