Kenneth Edwin Sloan was born in 1946 in Decatur, Texas, USA. After attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and spending two years in the US Army he began a career in computer software that eventually led to engagements as a consultant in organizational development for multinational companies. Since 1995 he lives in the Black Forest of Germany where he and his partner operate a small retreat center.
