Kevan Kenneth Bowkett is a Winnipeg writer, researcher, and editor, especially concerned about issues of new technologies and their implications. His play 'Time's Fancy: The War of King Henry V and Joan of Arc' was shown at the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival in 2017 and at the Carol Shields Festival of New Works (2013). His fiction and poetry have appeared in The Mythic Circle and nonfiction in Mythprint and the Manitoba Eco-Journal. He’s lectured on the international arms trade and on cities and new technologies at Menno Simons College and the University of Winnipeg. He’s also drafted an International Convention on the Evaluation of New Technologies for the ETC Group, washed dishes, slept in an igloo near the Arctic Circle, worked as a bicycle courier, and run for Parliament.
