Kevin lives in Colorado with his wife and their golden retriever Maggie. He enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and taking in the breath-taking views of the Rockies. Even after over 30 years he never tires of being in the mountains.
It is also where he enjoys writing saying that there is something inspirational about the sights, sounds and smells of the high country. The mind can relax and let go.
Kevin has been a sci-fi/fantasy nut from the time he was young, watching Star Trek (the original) and each succeeding franchise. He couldn't get enough of the Stargate movie and series. He watched all of the Star Wars movies. Read and watched the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. His bookcases are full of books about faraway places with strange names and odd creatures. Works of fiction are great ways to set reality aside and transport yourself to new places for a time.
Kevin believes in the power of story. It has the ability to change lives. Fiction is powerful because of the freedom it gives to explore the realities of life, but from the vantage point of another place, time, culture, people, or amazing creatures. It can move beyond the bounds of our everyday lives and look at life in a new way.
So many of us read books to escape our everyday world, to live vicariously through someone else. He hopes his books provide that escape and make people happier and more hopeful.
