Kimber Leigh is an award-winning author, independent filmmaker, producer, director, and actress based on the Big Island of Hawai‘i. Her creative career spans more than 40 films and includes the documentaries Together in ALS: A Wife’s Perspective, Taking Your Crack at Filmmaking, and Pick It Up America: Life Is a Beach, an exploration of ocean safety and stewardship recognized by film festivals around the world.
She is the author of four books: ECHO: Conversations Across Consciousness; the award-winning memoir Greta GarBitch: A True Story of Love, Light, and Loss; the visual collection Kuʻu Aloha: Frames from the Big Island; and the empowering guide From Underdog to Top Dog: Understanding and Recognizing Your Irresistible Power.
