Much to his parents chagrin, Ladd DeWinter didn't grow up in their small town in the mountains of Utah so much as in his head. After completing his college degree in creative writing, he also finished his teaching certificate to pay the bills while he completed his first novel. He now resides in Orem with his wife and children, which come in the two-legged and four-legged variety. And he still lives in his head.
