Lainee Thompson resides in the Midlands of South Carolina. Writing has been an integral part of her life since childhood, and she went on to receive a BA in English from UOP then an MA in Creative Writing with SNHU.
Lainee is a mother, sister, and advocate for women fighting for their freedom from toxic relationships. Her first poetry collection, He Loved Me Not, remarks her time of healing through divorce and grieving the woman she was before her marriage. She has found her voice again, and is expressing herself through various formats of verse. The second poetry collection dives into feelings of depression, anxiety, and more that one must weather in order to gain harmony.
