Laura Taylor is a pseudonym for Gabriel Danes. Gabriel is a bisexual, transgender writer of queer romance novels. Many of his works include themes of social justice and his characters often challenge traditional gender roles. He believes that representation for queer and gender diverse folk is becoming more and more important in a world where an increasingly vocal minority are attempting to push those who are ‘different’ back into their various closets, or in some cases, denying them the right to exist at all.
Gabriel has been writing since he was a teenager, beginning in various fanfiction universes and eventually migrating to writing independent novels. Gabriel is the proud owner of two rambunctious cats and he habitually gets up way too early in the morning to go and watch the sun rise.
Gabriel lives on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia.
