Lauren Cipollo is a screenwriter, novelist, and illustrator specializing in science fiction, fantasy and other genre fare. She designed over a dozen species and countless mechanics for the space adventure tabletop role-playing game Parallax. She then crafted the world and characters from the Parallax universe into a series of novels. The Parallax trilogy, written with co-author Matt Conant, will be released by Aethon Books. She is currently developing two projects for TV: one a family-friendly animated sci-fi series, and one a live-action sitcom based on her real-life experiences as a zookeeper.
