Leah Milana Bauer, born and raised in New Orleans, built a life fueled by creativity and entrepreneurship. After studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, she worked in Hong Kong’s fashion industry before launching her own clothing line in Los Angeles. She eventually opened stores in both L.A. and New Orleans. Shortly after returning home, she was forced to evacuate during Hurricane Katrina with her two-year-old daughter, Grace-Rose, who was born with Cystic Fibrosis. Leah returned to L.A. for specialized medical care and balanced running her business with CF advocacy and fundraising. Together with her daughter, she co-founded a children’s clothing line and established The Grace Rose Foundation to support CF research and youth mental health. Now also an author, Leah continues to grow her creative ventures while making a meaningful impact.
