After a distinguished 46-year career in insurance, Leesa O’Donnell Tomsett retired in 2025 to pursue storytelling. She is the author of the non-fiction book An Anthology of Loss, Healing, and Resilience, and two children's titles, Clara and Karen’s Big Adventure and The ABCs of the Fairy Realm. A native New Orleanian at heart, Leesa now lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her husband, son, and family pets. She holds a BA from the University of the Incarnate Word and is currently working on her next book.
