Lesley L. Smith is a physicist by day, a science fiction author by night, and occasionally both at once. After earning a PhD in particle physics and an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction, she decided to stop pretending she did not have a split personality and just embrace it.
She has written over a million words of speculative fiction, from multiverse mischief in Kat Cubed to quantum crime fighting in The Quantum Cop to her delightfully chaotic new series The Perils of Tiffani. Her short fiction has appeared in Analog, Daily Science Fiction, Nature Futures, and other venues that enjoy a good twist of science and imagination.
