Because I have a strong desire to help people, especially those who are or have been victims of domestic violence, I write self-help books. During the vicious cycle of abuse, I had no help, and my distress was immense. Before I simply decided I was done, I had no idea what to do or how to set myself free.
If I had received guidance, I believe I would have left earlier. In an effort to hopefully be of some assistance to you, I therefore write with all of this in mind.
