For over three decades, Lillianne Bowersock has been rewriting the playbook on classroom inclusion. A resident of Huntington, WV, Lillianne was among the trailblazing students who launched Marshall University’s Special Education initiative on a full scholarship. Since then, her 35-year career with Cabell County Schools has been driven by a single, powerful mission: making sure every child has the access and support they need to succeed.
Today, Lillianne brings that mission into the future by pairing traditional co-teaching with cutting-edge AI technology. Working closely with small groups of students, she uses AI to design personalized, real-time explanations that meet learners exactly where they are.
When she isn't transforming the educational landscape, Lillianne channels her energy into her vibrant personal passions. She is a proud mother of three, a dedicated reader, and an enthusiastic houseplant gardener. Her love for creativity shines through in her work as an art teacher for young children and as a docent at the Huntington Museum of Art, where she helps the community discover the joy of lifelong learning and artistic appreciation.
