Lluna Fab has been translating other authors’ words for 20 years. She has worked on more than 10,000 projects and translated millions of words from English, French, and Catalan into Spanish. One day she woke up and her inner writer said, “Enough! Why don’t you write your own stories?” And boy, did she ever! A writer, mom, translator, editor, and fiercely loyal to the people she loves—among many other things that won’t fit here—Lluna decided to publish when she discovered that the stories she told her daughters had something special: they made them laugh, and they always asked for more: “Just a little bit more, mom, pleeease!” Today she is the author of Pompona Bombona Caramona - The Forbidden Party, The Scruffy Dog Who Hated Money, and the creator of the Extravagant Animals collection: stories with sharp humor but full of emotion, suspense, courage, and values. Want to know what makes her unique? Lluna Fab is in love with extravagant words (the ones that already exist and the ones she invents whenever she feels like it) and always includes a personalized and unique glossary at the end of her books. This way, children don’t just have fun with the story—they learn new vocabulary and discover that they, too, can invent their own words to define the very special world they see. And because it’s not all about learning, learning, and learning, she also adds pages for coloring the illustrations because the book is meant to be enjoyed: by reading, coloring, or both at the same time. Follow her and don’t miss any of her new stories because she types at the speed of light!
