I was born in Arkansas but spent most of my childhood in Salem, Oregon before my family moved to Missouri when I was 15. An avid reader, writing has always been a passion. I decided to become a full-time writer after I retired from my Director of Nursing position at my local health department. As a Registered Nurse I use real world details to create believable characters.
