Lynda Harlos is a Domestic Sex Trafficking Prevention Educator, TEDx Speaker, Certified Family Coach and author of three books. Her work grew from a deeply personal experience: discovering years after the fact that her daughter had been trafficked and realizing how much she, as a parent, did not know.

That experience became the foundation for Lynda’s prevention work today. She speaks to parents, professionals, schools, organizations and communities about recognizing vulnerability, understanding exploitation and having the conversations that can help protect children and youth.

Lynda is the author of *Walk a Mile: A Mother’s Journey into Her Daughter’s Secret Life*, along with two other books. Her work has been featured by Global News, CBC, CTV North and the Toronto Star, and she has appeared on numerous podcasts and spoken at conferences, schools and community events across North America.

Lynda’s message is not about blame or fear. It is about helping adults understand what they may not know until it is too late—and giving them the knowledge, tools and confidence to recognize the signs and respond differently.
