M.A. DePriest (Mitchell A DePriest) born in Redding California in 1986 where he lived for 20 years of his life. Now lives near the California Capitol of Sacramento. He worked professionally as an Emergency Medical Technician for a short period.
The first book released, Encumbering Ashes, is said to be one of a saga. The author recently released a second addition to Umbra Saga, Birth of Shadows. In addition to releasing a sequel, he also released a collections book comprised of Encumbering Ashes and Birth of Shadows. DePriest published a children's book, My Dad's Hero, for his son.
