M. C. K. Schock is native to the Great Plains of South Dakota, born and raised in the state capital, Pierre. Her passion for creative writing and the arts persisted throughout her childhood and journey into adulthood. She would go on to turn her dream into reality, eventually becoming a published author with her debut novel, “Missouri, My Sweet”.
Besides writing in her spare time, Schock enjoys the simple beauty of nature, walks along the water, music of any kind, yoga, dancing, food with a lot of flavor, and, most importantly, making memories with family and friends.
