M.H. Sargent got on the bestseller list in 2010 with Seven Days From Sunday, a taunt thriller set in Iraq. That was the first of nine books in the MP-5 CIA series, the last one published in 2017. After that, Sargent returned to screenwriting, finding the endeavor both gratifying and restricting, such as keeping the page total to a predetermined number, not to mention dealing with too many cooks in the kitchen weighing in on the development of a given story. After several years of playing that game, the yearning for creative freedom prevailed, and Sargent published a new suspense thriller, The Liquid Solution.
Sargent lives in Arizona and enjoys hiking, mountain bike riding, and of course, writing.
