MJ Blehart has been writing throughout his life. He wrote his first sci-fi story (and illustrated it) when he was 9. Along the way, he added fantasy and Steampunk to his repertoire.
Ever the student, MJ loves to study and learn. He's constantly seeking to explore and gain knowledge of new things.
MJ is notorious among friends for his puns and snarky comments. Random, unbelievable things happen to him all the time. Once, in Santa Fe, NM, a total stranger came up to him, offered to shake his hand, and told him, "I just had to say...you're an odd-looking fellow."
MJ has been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a medieval re-enactment society, for almost 30 years. In the SCA he is known as Malcolm Bowman, where he practices & teaches 16th-century rapier combat (fencing), court voice heraldry, archery, and more.
MJ lives with his wife and two feline overlords (cats) in south New Jersey.
