Macy Halford is the author of "My Utmost: A Devotional Memoir," celebrated by Christianity Today as "the best memoir of its kind" for its reckoning with faith and family in turn-of-the-millennium America. She also wrote the adaptation of the Modern Classic edition of Oswald Chambers's "My Utmost for His Highest." For many years, she was on the editorial staff of The New Yorker magazine, to which she still contributes. She lives in France with her family.
