Malissa Ferry is a U.S. Army veteran, wife, mother of four, and romance author who calls Northern Michigan home. After serving fourteen years in the Army, she traded military life for a quieter one surrounded by family, animals, and the beauty of Northern Michigan.
A lifelong love of short-track racing helped inspire the world of her debut novel, *A Sign From Heaven*. Having spent years around the sights, sounds, and people of local racing, Malissa brings a personal connection to the stories she creates.
At the heart of her writing, however, are people—their relationships, the unexpected ways they find one another, and the moments that can change the direction of a life. She enjoys writing romance filled with emotion, connection, family, and characters readers can become invested in.
