Mandy Manners is a writer, speaker, community and podcast host and coach trainer. She is a Certified Professional Life and Recover Coach with the IAPRC. A Certified Trauma Informed Recovery Coach (IRSI) She is also a She Recovers® Designated Coach and a Grey Area Drinking Certified Coach. Mandy co-founded Love Sober with Kate Baily to provide a platform for their 1-1 Coaching, online courses, podcast, workshops and writing. She coaches' women to feel empowered by their choice to stop drinking alcohol using a holistic approach to growth, mindset and wellbeing. Harnessing their decision to go sober to pivot from surviving to thriving in all areas of their lives. Mandy also works as a trainer at The Coaching Academy and co-created with Kate the CPD accredited Addictive Behaviours Coaching Specialism to teach coaches how to work with habit change, sustainable wellbeing and encourage self-leadership in their clients. Mandy Manners has a degree in Humanities. She started her career in the West End of London assisting on Theatre productions and Matthew Bourne’s modern ballets and then in arts marketing and events management, writing tenders and supporting arts venues across Sussex for a not for profit company. Moving to France in 2006 she retrained with a CELTA and worked as an English for Business university lecturer for a decade, creating courses in debating, convincing writing and negotiation before moving into coaching. Fluent in French, she lives in France with her husband and two children and cat and works internationally and online. Through her work she hopes to raise awareness and to destigmatise experiences of trauma, mental illness and substance use disorders by telling her story, creating conversation and providing support.
