Maria Menico Sifniades was born in New York City but spent part of her childhood in Cyprus. In 1974, she and her family fled the invading Turkish army, returning to New York. She's had a career as a Press Officer and a Health Care Researcher. She's a blogger, a traveler, a cook and an epicurean.The Red Ribbon of Time is her second novel. Archangel is her first novel. She lives in New Jersey with her husband.
