Marissa S. Adams is an indie author from Western New York who writes across genres, weaving together dark fantasy, raw emotions, fierce rebellion, and a little bit of beautifully controlled chaos. She is the author of the Veil and Valor Chronicles, a dark romantasy series filled with morally grey characters, political intrigue, betrayal, rebellion, and worlds where love and loyalty often come at a devastating price. Her other works include the Embers of Expression series, which explores grief, survival, anger, healing, and the messy reality of being human. The Lanternwood Stories is a whimsical children's series beginning with Finn and The Moonlight Pancake Parade. When she isn't writing, Marissa works as a case manager, creates bookish merch, attends local events, and somehow continues inventing new fictional worlds before finishing the ones already living rent-free in her head. She is also a mother to two beautiful children, a dog mom to a happy go-lucky pitbull named Princess, and spends much of her time with them and her loving fiancé.
