For over 20 years, I've been passionate about helping people live healthier, happier, and more resilient lives. Throughout my career, I've worked with governments, the NHS, local authorities, and leading organisations including M&S, E.ON, and the DVLA, developing wellbeing strategies that support both physical and mental health. I also had the privilege of contributing to the UK Government's occupational health and wellbeing strategy. My professional work has always centred on one simple belief: when people feel supported, they can achieve amazing things. That belief became deeply personal when I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease over 16 years ago. Living with Parkinson's changed my perspective completely. It taught me that wellbeing isn't just something we talk about—it's something we practice every day. It's about adapting, staying positive, finding purpose, and continuing to live a full and meaningful life despite the challenges we face. My first book, *Shaken*, shares my personal journey with Parkinson's and explores the resilience needed to navigate life with a progressive condition. Since then, I've dedicated my writing to creating practical resources that help people living with Parkinson's, stroke recovery, and other neurological conditions stay active, engaged, and independent. Through my activity books and wellbeing resources, my goal is to provide enjoyable, therapeutic activities that support cognitive health, fine motor skills, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. Whether you're living with Parkinson's yourself, caring for a loved one, or working in rehabilitation or occupational therapy, I hope these books offer encouragement, practical support, and moments of enjoyment. I believe every small step matters, every achievement is worth celebrating, and it's always possible to focus on what you *can* do rather than what you can't. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your wellbeing journey. Mark Holt-Rogers Author | Wellbeing Specialist | Parkinson's Advocate
