Martin studied at the prestigious Central Saint Martin's School of Art in Covent Garden. Graduating with a BA Hons in Art and Design. After sleeping on the floors and vacant sofas of his fellow graduates for far longer than he expected to, Martin was fortunate to be offered a placement at Young and Rubicam Advertising, situated in the old Black Cat cigarette company building in Mornington Crescent.
After a decade or so at the coal face of British Advertising, 'the most fun you can have with your clothes on', said David Ogilvy, Martin had worked as creative group head and creative director at some of London's most renowned agencies. He has always had itchy feet, however, and when he was offered creative positions in Barcelona and then Amsterdam, he jumped at the chance.
He has tried his hand at most things, driving a speedboat on the Costa Del Crime, leaping out of helicopters, erecting scaffolding all over London, to name but a few.
He now lives in Kent with his wife, two children, and their English Bulldog, Boba, named after the deadliest bounty hunter from a galaxy far, far away.
